Collect & Deliver Safety Protocol

Our Service Commitment:

 

weFix will be open for a Collect & Deliver repair service from the 4th May 2020 under the level 4 lockdown regulations.

It is the duty of all South Africans to ensure the safety of both our staff and our customers and limit the spread of COVID-19.

To ensure this we have implemented the below health & safety protocols inline with the guidelines of the South African Government and World Health Organization.

On arrival before exiting the vehicle, the driver will:

  • Sanitize his/her hands with sanitizer
  • Ensure their masks are securely fitted

 

On exiting the vehicle our driver will:

  • Ensure they keep a 1.5 meter distance from any person present at the delivery address where possible.

 

On the collection of a device:

    • The driver will ensure that the handover of a device will be as touch free as possible
  • The driver will ask the customer to place their device in a designated area confirmed by the customer.
  • The driver will then collect the device and sanitize the device by spraying an alcohol solution into a cloth and wiping the device.
  • The device will then be placed into a sealed ESD (Anti static bag) and labelled.
  • The driver will then take note of the customer's name, contact number and ID number with his own pen and show this to the customer for approval.
  • The driver will not leave a copy of the collection document with the client to limit the amount of contact but the customer is encouraged to photograph this if they wish.
  • Copies will be made available by email on request of the customer.

 

On the delivery of a device:

    • The driver will ensure that the handover of a device will be as touch free as possible
  • The driver will ask the customer to locate a designated area of their choosing.
  • The driver will sanitize the ESD in which the already sanitized device will be held, by spraying sanitizing solution on a cloth and wiping the bag.
  • The driver will then take note of the customer's name, contact number and ID number with his own pen on the POD and show this to the customer for approval.
  • The driver will not leave a copy of the collection document with the client to limit the amount of contact but the customer is encouraged to photograph this if they wish.
  • Copies will be made available by email on request of the customer.

 

Once the driver is back in their vehicle, they will sanitize their hands before safely removing their mask.

They will then move on to their next delivery / collection.
